And I have yet to feel a single one. I wanna feel an earthquake (not a big one with damage - but one of these little ones would be kinda cool to experience at least once).

"TEXNet" seismographic earthquake monitoring program should be set up and working before the end of the year:

http://www.star-telegram.com/news/business/article37455681.html

The proposed 9-member technical advisory committee is poised to render any scientifically-based results irrelevant, as it will most likely be stocked with retired politicians owned by the oil and gas industry, former oil and gas industry lobbyists, brothers-in-laws of oil and gas industry executives, young-earth religious activists, and two token academics.

2.4 a couple of days ago.

This article on the relationship between fracking, injection wells, regional geology and induced seismicity was in the Opinions section. I didn't see an overwhelming amount of "opinion" versus a rehashing of facts:

Lots of social media reports of an earthquake in the Haslet/Roanoke area. USGS says magnitude 3.0 at around 3:30 with an epicenter in the area between Alliance Airport and the BNSF Intermodal facility.

Yes, a 3.0 in Haslet and a 2.1 in the "usual" Irving location:

Unbelievable. Let me guess State Rep. Drew Darby, R-San Angelo, if that dam fails due to whatever, and a wall of water heads downstream destroying everything in it's path, that you'd have no problem with massive federal response via FEMA to help your fellow Texans. Or would that be something you would also oppose on the basis of massive federal overreach.

Was someone on the editorial board forced to write this headline as a part of a hazing ritual?

University of Texas study verifies that the majority of recent earthquakes in Texas were induced by fracking-related activities:

http://thescoopblog....rthquakes.html/

Believe who you will, "senior research scientists" at a major university geology departments or former petroleum executives and family members appointed by political hacks funded by petro-dollars.
