This site may have been posted here at some time in the past, I am not sure. But, I stumbled across it the other day and thought I'd post the web address.

Among other things, it has names of old towns and villages in Tarrant County, many that no longer exist and their approximate locations. You'll see familiar names often now street or park names. Too, some of the old tax records have a column indicating a headcount of how many slaves various farmers/merchants owned (I believe this is seen in an 1860 document).

Anyway, I sort of got lost in time for about an hour just poring over the various links. Lots of fun if you haven't visited this site before.

Finally, I have not attempted to find out who put the material together, but I suppose someone locally.

Take a look!

Cheers! Brad
