I'm tellin' ya, Google Earth is a very addictive toy.

While looking at the Gateway Park area relative to new ideas about the Trinity River Vision (which appears to be expanding and will evenutally encompase the entire drainage basin) I saw some mysterious shapes that appear to be the remains of a development of some sort.

Anyone know what was there and how long ago?

I recall in the late 70's to early 80's a developer poured the slabs for i believe an apartment complex and went broke.

Concretist is correct. That was an apartment complex that started construction and the project went under before construction was completed. Those are building slabs.
