Recently, a relative (who is big into garage sales!) found and bought me a pair of wooden book ends. These book ends were very unusual in that they displayed a pair of old Lone Star Gas logos on each of them. One of them shows the simple but famous blue flame logo that most of us are familiar with, which, I'm guessing, originated in the early- or mid-1960s, and was used until the 1990s. The other logo I'm not familiar with, but I did find it in a picture from Fort Worth Architecture's "Old Fort Worth" site.

I wanted to share this with everyone here, but I'm curious as to how long the older logo was in use. Any recollections or guesses?
