I called a photography shoot on the spur of the moment on Friday and Hooked and I met to shoot these pictures. I hope that you enjoy them.

I really like the new lighting on the Tower!!! Seeing the way it looks now I am really glad they didn't do the same old thing the other towers have. The lighting looks more modern and stands out from the others. The Tower draws your attention when you see it. Now, what is Burnett Plaza's prob? By the way great pics!! Cudos!!

I did notice the crown illumination on the Tower as I drove by downtown tonight, very nice touch. Extremely cool pics John, especially the ones of Pier One Place, such great lighting. They are of postcard quality. <_<

Seriously, whats up with Burnett Plaza??? Does anybody know if lights will ever go up again or will this be a black hole in the skyline?

When they finish cleaning the building and doing all of the exterior repair work, they have stated they will turn the lights back on.

Hi John. Seems like you were taking these images from an elevated location ?

On Sunday around 3:30pm we had the opportunity to take a panorama of the architecturally significant First United Methodist Church.

After clicking on this link.. click the QTVR panorama mid page. Its a full screen QTVR .mov file.

According to a source, they are spraying some sort of chemical on the concrete to clean and coat it. They should be almost done - it's a slow process. Once that's done, they'll put the lights back on.

Thanks grow smart for the info!!! After this amount of time had passed I figured they just were not going to turn them back on.
