An important anniversary is coming up in 2017.  I will let all of you see if you can determine what and when it will happen.

Soon a lot of the new members will be younger than the site itself.

Then the Forum must have started much later than the architecture site itself.  I note that the first posts were around April 2004.   If it's the site's 20th anniversary, then it was started about six years after the emergence of the world wide web (i.e., 1991, I believe).

I'm not sure.  I didn't run across the site until 1999, but, for some reason, I remembered that you founded it in 1997.

John can jump in if I'm sketchy on the details, but April 2004 is when the forum was migrated to this software from the old EZ Board, which believe it or not, is still out there:

It looks like that version came about in November of 2000 according to the stats box at the bottom.  There was a very rudimentary version of the forum before that, but I'm not sure if it started with the site or later on.

The forum started on EZ Board in 2000.  That was after the creation of the website.  The InvisionBoard version of the forum was migrated to the site in 2004.

I remember some very simple message board that was black text on white background where you didn't have to register to post at some point, but maybe that was just an early version of EZ Board. Or maybe another website's forum altogether. I've slept since then.

It was the early version of EZ Board.

Is it the date attached to the counter at the bottom of the homepage?
