virgil bourland was a friend of mine and he was also the manager of colonial country club

I think it's called 'Bourland Field" or something.

I've wondered, detail larry, if Virgil Bourland had anything to do with that little airstrip out by the old Pate Museum.

Bourland Field is owned by Richard Bourland. Retired AA captain.

Hobbs was located on N. Main between NW5th and NW6th streets. West side of Main. Still in business at different location in Fort Worth.
