I read another post regarding new apartments being built between Forest Park Blvd. & Summit Ave. just north of I-30. This post brought up possible demolition of the 1904 Cobb-Burney house, thought to be the first Prairie Style house in Fort Worth. I see it is listed for sale for $575,000 now. One of the posters mentioned that just because it has a Texas marker that that won't stop possible demolition. Anyone have updates on this? Also, a friend of mine will be working on another house on Sunset Terrace....it is stone w/ stone brackets and seems to have an enclosed front porch...it looks very old. Anyone know the history of that place?
