I was driving through the TCU Area and I noticed that virtually the entire block bounded by Lubbock on the west, Cantey on the north, Merida on the east, and Lowden on the south was dark, and fenced off with construction fencing. It appeared that all of the houses and apartments are to be demolished soon. We may have even discussed this here, but does anyone know what is going to be built at that location?

I found out what is going in on this full block in Frisco Heights. It is going to be a TCU parking lot.

Here are some of the old apartment buildings being demolished for this parking lot. They have already started demolition, so they looked much better when they were occupied.
