Disney is patenting aerial marionettes - basically UAVs disguised as Disney characters. The characters are fully articulated (legs& arms move, etc ..) but will fly like a UAV.

Once the technology is fully developed, maybe FW could create an aerial rodeo or cattledrive or shootout as a western themed attraction ?

I think we should drop a tower of terror in downtown someplace. Maybe convert the T&P warehouse into a rockn roller coaster.

Disney will probably use these in the Avatar theme park.
I can't remember what those flying lizard things were called in Avatar.
But the UAV marionettes could help bring them to life.

That's really cool.  Interestingly enough, the use by Disney mentioned in the original post was pretty limited.  They used them in a limited-time nightly holiday show at Disney Springs (Disney owned shopping and entertainment area adjacent to the Orlando parks) from November 2016 to January 2017 and they haven't been seen since.
