Just heard about something cool, can’t share too many details now but stay tuned.
No idea what it means! Guess we wait 4 days

Back in the good ol' days, you could do a WHOIS search and find out who was behind a domain registration. Now everyone registers through third parties to hide their identity.

And five years later SolarWorld Industries announced they are moving out of downtown Fort Worth and moving the HQs to Woodlands, Dallas, Frisco wherever. And the manufacturing plant to China.
Or I hope that Fort Worth city leaders learned their lesson that half the battle is to keep companies from moving out. And that the western image of the city is not the problem.

I think we can safely assume that it won't be a creepy announcement about a theme park the size of Rhode Island that takes us back to 1950s values.

Thank goodness Fort Worth was able to retain American Airlines! They are now Fort Worth's only Fortune 500 company.
Fort Worth used to have five (5!) Fortune 500 companies: American Airlines, BNSF (no longer public), Radio Shack (basically dead), D.R. Horton (now in Arlington), and XTO Energy (now an ExxonMobil subsidiary; will soon move to Houston).
EDIT: I originally listed Pier 1 Imports instead of BNSF in the above list. Looks like I may have confused the two.
Found BNSF on a former Fortune 500 list while trying to find Pier 1 Imports without success.

If it has anything to do with the refurbishment of the Ellis Pecan plant then I'm stoked. It will be the first thing coming out of Panther Island heading north and it has so much potential to be something really cool.

Anyone can see that it is not a view from the Ellis Pecan Building but a view that includes EPB in it.

I'm pretty sure that the 2 story building at the bottom left of the pic with the single second story light on is one of the Texas Refinery Corp. buildings at NE 8th and Main. If the pic isn't from Ellis Pecan, I'm not seeing it in that pic.

Got me curious about P1. Wikipedia lists a revenue of $1.828B. Briggs and Stratton, dead last on the fortune 1000 list, has a listed revenue of $1.8B (perhaps rounded down?). Pier 1 is awful close to making that list.
GM Financial has a revenue of $6.45B which would put in into the 500 (at #418) if it were eligible. BNSF's #19B would put it around #150. Cash America only generates a little over a billion so it is'nt really close to even the 1000.
Alcon is based in Switzerland but has it's N American HQ here and makes a sizable $6B in revenue.

Pier 1 Imports is #967 on the Fortune 1000 list.

Well, there is a lot more content there now. I suppose you get an idea of what it's all about. A little buzzwordy though.
