Posting some photos from White Sands, NM taken about a year ago. This is a great place to go for vacation during the cooler seasons. Wouldn't recommend going in the summer though. Holloman Airbase is nearby and we saw F-117 stealth fighters flying overheard (sorry no pictures...they were too fast).

I love White Sands!!! My uncle was a big shot at White Sands Missle Range for over 40 years and when I was a kid, we used to go see him and they'd take me to play in the white sand at White Sands... It was so fun sliding down the dunes. I even broke the law and "borrowed" a bucket of sand from there (give me a break, I was like 4) and I played with that sand for months after. Great memories... thanks for the pics. I'm glad to see the dunes are still as beautiful as they were when I was a kid...
