JBB,
This is a public forum for people to express their opinions. Just because I commented on the main photo for the site does not mean that I do not appreciate this forum or the work that John does to keep it up. This forum is one of my favorite places on the web but I think if everyone always agreed and never expressed their opinions then that would be lame.

I hope you can take a joke because I was just kidding. I will get the new photo up soon, but I will try to replace the shot with my night photo from the Amon Carter in the meantime. I really didn't mind running home to get my camera to take the picture. When I have the time, I aim to please. This is your web site, too.

LOL!
I think your bill is fair... will you take a check?

Thanks for taking those pictures. The first one (daytime) was interesting as I've never seen that view before where it shows the Omni detached from the downtown core. It'll be interesting to see over the next decade if in-fill occurs in that area with low, mid, or high-rises.
I don't know of another vantage point that really brings out the urban density of Fort Worth, as well as showing off the signature towers, like the Amon Carter Musuem porch. However, if there is one then I'd like to see it. The night time shot is handsome...even more so if the Omni introduces a lighting scheme in the future.
Thanks, again.

Nice pic.
Suggestion for another one: I've either a.) forgotten my camera or b.) not the right time of day for lighting, but if you don't mind not getting the Pier 1/Chesapeake Energy building, what about a skyline shot zoomed waaay in from here on one of the hills next to I-30?

That location is where I took my photo back in the 80's that I posted under another thread. Like you said, the new building on Camp Bowie partially blocks the view of downtown.
