"Architectural site" doesn't have to have a building on it.  My choice among the top ten is The Water Gardens.

The bigger question is "who is managing this poll - a 3rd grader?"

I'm probably in the minority in appreciating the Fort Worth (formerly Tarrant County) Convention Center Arena as an architectural site. It is a signature part of the downtown "look" especially when coming in from the east side; it is a unique part of the cityscape that will be missed when it is demolished for more (probably) BLAH meeting rooms and ballrooms. Too bad the city is not willing to explore ways to expand and revamp the building a la Daniel Meyer Coliseum. As regards the acoustic architecture" of the arena, no other large performance venue for amplified music in the area, past or present, ever came close to the "flying saucer". It has been severely underused in the past couple of decades, but in the days of arena rock it was the place to be heard in north Texas.

I went back to the FWBP poll to see the latest results.  I believe this poll is about two weeks old (?).  Only 32 votes total so far.  I hope that's not total FWBP on-line readership.

I think it's a more of a reflection of how crappy that site is. I've tried on 2 computers and I've yet to figure out a way to vote.

Thanks, Doohickie.  However, I think they should have made the title more specific in that it was for actual buildings, not architecture in general.

I can't figure out how to vote on that polling site, either.
