Mary Lou Bruner is close to winning a seat on the Texas State Board of Education. She is an obvious nut-job. She could soon be helping to decide on curriculum matters and textbooks for Texas school children. Oops, something's broke!

Hold on Texas--just a few more years and there will be competitive races in Texas to end the stupidity---well at least in the urban areas

Despite almost winning the primary vote in March, Bruner ended up losing by nearly 18 percentage points in the runoff. Recent publicity obviously worked pretty hard against her.
