Dave, is that the incinerator at the end of Yuma, to the southwest of E. Berry and Riverside Drive?

Yes; that is the one off of Yuma at Berry. I went early in the morning and planned to get a bit closer but the cops showed up almost immediately. I'm guessing they watch the place pretty closely. I was shooting from the fence-line, so they were cool with me being there but they said that they have a lot of stolen cars dumped in that area. I shot for a while and, as I was leaving, they were still sitting nearby around a corner. So, if you want to go inside, I'd say you need to pack your ruck-sack and hike in.

Is 1566 taken with a fish-eye lens? The street seems pretty darn level, but the building seem like they are leaning toward each other.

My last picture? Nope, it was taken with a Nikon Coolpix.
It does seem to have a leftward lean to it. Might just be the picture.

Do you ever feel like we've run out of angles or pictures?
It kinda makes it more fun and challenging to take something interesting.

On the Trinity Trails South of University on Saturday
Walking home from the Stockyards Sunday night
On North Main Street. Buildings dated 1909. I bet the people that built this structure would really be amazed to walk into this tattoo shop. They would never believe it. Young guys and girls coming in to permanently paint their bodies from head to toe. (Used to be icky sailors only) Then after spending thousands of dollars on tattoos ask their neighbors to pay for their kids lunches at school.

Brian, as always great shots. I like the one of North Main looking at the courthouse. You are right on about the tats. Can buy milk for the kids, but can get a new tat often. Hope you don't mind if I share photo #2 of the courthouse and as always you get the credit.

Same photo cropped. I had a bigger lens, but I wasn't sure where to shoot. Now I know where to look, I can always go back tomorrow night.
I think I need to stick to architectural photography.

I'm up for lunch at Kincaids.
There's been talk about a FWArchitecture meetup but I don't know that lunch was ever an option. This might actually be a good idea. Just pick a random workday and let's all meet for lunch at Kincaid's.

- Did my Saturday 10 mile walk around Fairmount and Ryan Place on Saturday. Very interesting in many areas. But my surprise of the Year? This mansion in Ryan Place on a huge corner lot. For Sale. $599k. Would have guessed the lot was $800k. Can't imagine why it is so cheap. Would have guessed $2mm +.
