Let's go ahead and get together for lunch on Friday.  We will meet at noon and we should decide on a restaurant.  I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the Sundance Square Plaza back in November.  We should also try to get together more in the evenings and weekends this year, as well.

Campisi's Restaurant? Don't know too much about it, but it's new, isn't it?

Campisi's is new; however, I have eaten there and I was not pleased.  The food was kind of expensive and there are better places on Camp Bowie.  This is just my take, because I love the original Campisi's in Dallas.

As long as it's warm and close, I'm game.

BBQ would be good, but the Railhead will be slammed with Stock Show patrons.  Fred's on Bluebonnet Circle is actually an excellent idea.  It's a little far from work, but real close to home.  We really need to firm up a location.

We still thinking about the new square downtown?

They are not open for lunch, yet.  We could also do any place in Downtown.

I'm for any place downtown, plus there's lots of new stuff downtown to discuss.

Anyplace is good.

I was thinking more along the lines of Riscky's.

I'll catch you guys next time.  The effort to park downtown cuts too much into the time I'll have for lunch.

That's something Sundance Square should be cognoscente of.

Is a parking garage too difficult?

Of course it isn't difficult, but it is time consuming.  My travel to downtown is about 15 minutes round trip and parking in a garage adds another 15 minutes at least.

Sounds easy to me...

Let's just pick it and go with it, then we can discuss where to have it next time over lunch.

I haven't been to downtown for lunch in quite a while.  Let's just set it at Riscky's and we will meet and discuss things about the city. It will be at high noon at the southwest corner of 2nd and Main Street.

JBB, I'm glad that you can make it.  I'm sorry we kind of left you out because we went downtown, but other than the Sundance Square Plaza opening, we haven't met downtown for lunch.  One of the places that I want to do in the spring is the Thistle Hill Food Truck Park.  With the nice weather forecast for tomorrow, we could have met there.  However, scheduling a lunch outside in January is rather risky.  At 10 days from Sunday, the meteorologists thought it would be turning somewhat cooler, but not a bad day for the first part of February.  Now, it is going to be really cold with a 40% chance of precipitation.

All of you missed a good lunch.  We sat outside in the Sundance Square Courtyard and the weather was perfect for it.  Dfwerdoc finally made it, so we had a chance to meet him.  Qmcgown, David Love, and gdvanc were the others who were there.  David and gdvanc and I walked around for a few minutes after we ate.

It was an amazing day downtown.

I was really impressed with the restaurant, it was a slammed Friday lunch, wall to wall people and they didn't skip a beat, it was like we were the only customers in the place.

A curious thing to note: As I was hanging out front waiting for everyone to arrive a gaggle of women smokers meandered by, I've outgrown the bar scene, but I wondered if they realized how horrible they smelled? I never realized when I was around it all the time.

Very unfortunate habit.
