First Pic is the two kids. Enjoying the day. (Or cotton candy high)
Second picture is where his youngest daughter made a friend there in the bleachers. Within 2 minutes she felt the need to show her everything in her purse. I guess because I never had kids, I found this fascinating.
OK. Show her the junk in your purse, that will impress her!

BTW: I see my pictures posted earlier in this thread are disappearing. I had them uploaded to Picoodle. They disappear if they have not been viewed in a year. Bummer. I now use FLICKR obviously. I pay for a pro account as I feel like it is less likely to dump my pictures. Not a sure thing still. I get a photography magazine that had a whole story on a Photo upload house that went out of business. These were photographers that paid big money for their storage. They sent an e-mail to all the customers one day in advance of shutting down stating that people should get their pics and save them somewhere else. I bet you guessed the punchline... with only one day to recover your pictures their server was swamped and locked up.
I guess I should go through my old posts and delete any that have broken link pics.

I am going to guess that they are a couple of woman being celebrated for Mother's day and waiting on their driver to exit the garage. I lost my Mom 6 years ago but can still enjoy other people's Moms. As my wife of 27 years and I never had children, the Mrs. is slaving away in the kitchen whipping up a delicious, yet nutritious, dinner for us. (While I am on my laptop, obviously preparing for work tomorrow. )
17-40 4.0L way cropped. (Was yearning for more focal length.)
Happy Mother's day to them. And all.

My nieces wedding 3 weeks ago. Reception. As the adults were doing their official dancing stuff on one side, the little girls were on the other side dancing with themselves. (Kids of my nieces and nephews) I liked watching them as they were the only ones that were REALLY having fun. A lot of movement. Had borrowed my old Rebel XSi for these. No flash. Evening sun through the windows.

Guessing the wind resistance keeps this roller skate from hitting 70.
(nothing against tiny cars. Wanting a Chevy Beat when they hit the streets next year. )

So where does he park when storms roll in? I'm guessing he's aware it doesn't have to be raining or even cloudy to get hit. I'd like to catch that shot, then the after shot, a big green roasted marshmallow at the end of wire coat hanger.
I threw a ton of that crap away when I moved downtown, one of those antennas looks kind of familiar, nope, my mistake, that's bailing wire.
Let me guess the license plate read "SPARKY"

Always enjoy your pics. Thanks. I love this shot. The streets look vibrant, people-filled, and exciting. (Though, I wish they - whoever "they" are - would fix the snaggle-tooth yellow lights around the buildings - fix 'em or nix 'em.)

And I could not agree more about the lights. I would be willing to change them myself if they would let me. (I kid not)
In the mean time, the Mayor owed me a favor so I picked up the blower, gave him a ring and gave him an ultimatum.
"Listen here Mayor Moncrief. We are sick and tired of all the lights out in our fair City. You fix this in the next hour or just forget about getting
Re-elected." Bingo, I went back last night and all the lights are fixed. (Proof below)
And if you don't believe that story would you believe that I ran my shot thru Photoshop to fix the lights?
Lights fixed. (If only in my dreams)

BTW this girl is 24 years old. Graduated from the UTA school of Nursing in the top of her class and is now a nurse at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. A really great girl.

Thank you Mike. And I do think photography is the perfect complement for a boring job...
When I was in Public Accounting for 8 years I skydived (Skydove?)... as that was even more boring of a job.

Wonder about all the details... Cost, materials, application method, frequency of use, horsepower. (Kidding about that horsepower thing)
I think Jerry Jones paid for it all if I heard correctly. (Because that big game is in Arlington) Shot this when I was in Dallas yesterday. Pulled over at a liquor store. Was not a good neighborhood by the looks of things. In fact, it looked so bad I was selecting fast shutter speeds. My wife showed her true colors. She had me locked out of my car though I was just 5 feet away. (She was sitting in it)

Took a bunch of pictures Sunday. Was kind of a hazy, icky day but that is not all bad when taking people pics. Here are some of my favs. We went to Botanic Gardens and then walked around downtown.

I went to watch him drive fast today. Was pretty fun. I took all my camera gear but never got my big boy lens out of my car because I did not want everybody there to be eying my $15,000. lens until I was leaving. I wound up leaving earlier than I thought because my cause was going back into the classroom for an hour and I was hot. I did take a handful of good shots with my 70-200mm 2.8L IS.
