Confusing name I know. 38 units at 5th and Currie, where an old trailer park was. Being developed by the same people developing the Shooters Gallery on Vickery.

Site is cleared as of today.

5th and 6th streets are a world away from nearby Crockett and Bledsoe streets. Much more suburban and the infastructure is very poor. No sidewalks and terrible streets. Hopefully the condition will improve as West 7th area development moves north.

Magnolia is confusing given the fact that it's the same as a popular street in town, but it's just another brand name. Crimson has been involved in a few other projects in Dallas under the Magnolia name.

Thanks for posting all these pictures Austin. Contributions from people like you are what make this website a great a resource for keeping up with what's going on there in FW.

Thanks, Richal. I enjoy seeing progress myself, so I bring a camera along. I used to browse this website before I could drive and always liked the pictures best.

...not to mention the Magnolia Motor Lounge at Morton & Norwood less than a mile away, and the Magnolia Lofts on Vickery.  The Motor Lounge is under different ownership, but the apartment complexes are all under the Magnolia Property Company umbrella, which apparently uses Crimson as a builder.

Evidently this project had its name changed to "Magnolia Park" which is even more vague. Really dumb stuff.

A brand name as ubiquitous as Magnolia is confusing and a little silly.  We aren't even the Magnolia State (Mississippi).

How about the Homes on West 5th or something equally simple?

Why didn't they continue to use the name Linwood? Since they are going to use Magnolia, hopefully they will install Magnolia trees at least.

Magnolia comes from the name of our development company. Magnolia Park is the name it's going under now while we're building it... It used to be an RV Park...hence the name....Magnolia Park...

I'm sure the name will change as we get closer to turning units.

Glad we found the person to complain to! Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting this info.

I think it will be quite confusing to name this Magnolia, since most in fort Worth will think of magnolia ave, which is a completely different part of town.

I'm glad to see this project happen and best of luck no matter what you end up calling it.
