A new Hampton Inn & Suites is slated to go up in the Evans and Rosedale Urban Village, just off of I-35W.  Fort Worth Business reports on the new facility below:

My uncle owned several of those lots years ago. Glad to see some progress.

Well this is a pleasant surprise. 

 

The 7-Eleven, the Jack-in-the-Box, and the handful of other small projects are good, but this would signify that they're serious about getting this Urban Village going.

The Hazel Harvey Peace Center is also a very nice centerpiece for the neighborhood.

I didn't think it was part of the Urban Village.

It's right across the street. Part of the village or not, it's a major fixture in the neighborhood.
