I work in the Cultural District, but only recently have discovered how many wonderful photo opportunities there are in the District. I spent two hot late afternoons this week capturing some shots of the Kimbell before the sky got milky later in the week like it always does when the humidity levels go up:

Great shots Art. I have experienced the Kimbell throughout my life even when I didn't live in Fort Worth. Of all the buildings I have seen throughout the world the Kimbell is still one of my favorites. It seems to never get old and to me is like a classy old lady.

I returned to the Kimbell last night and got some more shots done:
We are truly blessed to have such a significant structure in our midst.

Longhorn, thanks!
The Kimbell is a great building. I almost feel ashamed photographing it so much, considering I work at the Amon Carter.
I plan to pay another night visit to the Carter soon to get some shots. Been waiting for the exterior facade renovation work to wind down so construction clutter is not in the photos.

Spent some time down by the Modern yesterday:
I then went downtown briefly and did a grab shot of this from my truck while at a stoplight:
Does anyone know the name of this church?
