So last night I caught a movie and some Starbucks downtown (that was good cheesecake ), and of course I brought the camera and FORGOT THE TRIPOD! But things turned out ok, as you shall see. Here are the pics, enjoy!
From the parking garage, some FW density
The beautiful limestone angels and golden trumpets of Bass Hall
Pecan Place, the beginning of the boom about to happen in "Uptown"
City Center, right in front of the Palace
At 7, things are just warming up
We emerge from Vanity Fair (very confusing movie) and a car gets in the way of the 8.0 patio
Razoo's
Neon...
No, I wasn't drunk... :cheers1:
Sundance 11 looking good
Yeah, it's like this almost every weekend
Back to the Palace (a bit blurry)
And back to where we started, the parking garage
(Sorry about the blur)
The end!
Fresh from Downtown

Very nice. Love the daytime Bass Hall pic and the City Center pic.

Jonny, those are really nice pictures. You are turning into quite a photographer. I do think that if you had your tripod, the shots would have been better, but there's still something I like about the blur.

More, you say?
Some random downtown
Time to move up to the parking garage!
City Center
Uptown
Let's call it the Warehouse District, shall we?
I see...NEON!
Bass
Some density for ya
I've saved the best for last, these pics are some of the best I've taken, IMO, so tell me what you think:
This one was my favorite of the bunch, something about it just caught my eye (that's my friend on the left, btw)
The End!

I'm downtown a lot, but these pictures really bring out a lot of color and vibrancy I don't usually notice. I think they're great, and perhaps a refresher course for those of us who grow desensitized.
