Yes, that sounds dubious. FW-D have four of the top ten counties nationally in population growth, presumably not all of that growth is coming directly from the "farm" but from young college educated adults.
The thing about this cooked up explanation is that it does not explain Nashville or that we are to believe that Central Tennessee is a hotbed for tech and young people; and was able to beat places like Boston, Philadelphia or Toronto.
