I have a photo simulation of the proposed museum if anyone would like to see it, but no place to host it.

Leonards Museum moving to Carroll St.
The Leonards Museum, once tucked in the basement of the Tandy Center downtown, has a new home.
Marty Leonard is leasing 1,600 square feet in Fort Worth Screen Printing's new building at 200 Carroll St., north of West Seventh Street on the near west side. The museum will move from the Tandy Center because Dallas-based PNL Cos. plans to turn the office towers into residences.
Fort Worth Screen Printing bought the 10,200-square-foot building in January and has been renovating it. It is the former Mathis Radio building.
Kevin Novak, a co-owner in Fort Worth Screen Printing and a collector of Leonards memorabilia, heard of Marty Leonard's attempt to find new space for the many items that have been on display since 1992 and decided that he had space available.
Fort Worth Screen Printing will move in during the next couple of weeks. It has also leased about 500 square feet to Goodfellas, a promotional products company, and Zebra Graphics, a sign company.
Novak and Leonard and Displays Unlimited will map out design plans soon, with the hope that the museum will be open by October. Novak said he'd like to host grand openings for his company and the museum about the time the neighboring SuperTarget store opens.
The new location will more than triple the space the museum had in Tandy Center. There's more than enough room to bring in an old Leonards subway car, Novak said.
Novak said he is thrilled to have the museum. His father, a retired Fort Worth firefighter, drove the Leonards subway and played its Santa Claus.
Novak said he'd even like to recreate Leonards' famous Toyland during the holidays.

I had the opportunity to get a sneak peak inside the Leonard's Museum Tuesday. They are recreating several departments of the old store and stocking it with period merchandise. There will be a sign on White Settlement in the fashion of the old subway sign pointing south down Carroll toward the museum. One end of the exhibit is walled off and covered with a banner detailing the subway. The only known existing LEONARDS subway car is being restored by North Texas Historic Transportation and will be placed in this end of the museum once the work is complete (probably next year). The car will project out the front of the building and looking like it is emerging from the tunnel.
While I have heard of no set opening date, it probably will be within a month.

The Leonard's Musuem officially opened today (December 10, 2005) in the new location on Carroll Street. I would highly recommend visiting. I used to enjoy going into its old location in the Tandy Center.
