Ford to offer F-150 that runs on natural gas

Ford Motor says it will start offering its versions of its best-selling F-150 full-size pickup that can run on liquefied natural gas.

Not too radical..  Many FW city vehicles from cars to the "T"' buses run on CNG which is compressed natural gas and Dallas buses are also making the switch. The only difference between CNG and LNG is the manner of storage, not the fuel itself.

 

I have read articles recently that a number of truck makers are getting ready to adopt an LNG engine for over the road hauls.  

 

There isn't a whole lot of difference between LNG and the LPG (Propane) that we use in cookers, tractors and many pickup trucks.
