I realize this may not be the best place to start this discussion, but I when I checked the websites for Fort Worth bus system, I couldn't even find any way of offering feedback.

I live in Austin, and since my retirement, have been learning the Capital Metro transportation system, both bus and metro rail.

One of the most pleasing things I have found about the Austin system, is that the bus schedules are on interactive google maps. You can choose any route on the Cap Metro website, and see interactive dots of every stop on that route. When clicking on one of the dots, you can see all the scheduled stops for that drop point. Yesterday, I checked the bus systems for Fort Worth, Dallas, Waco and Houston. All their bus maps/schedules are on Adobe or something similar and while the maps show the route, they do not show the individual stops. This means that if tourists are interested in taking the bus, they don't have an easy time of finding the nearest bus stop or schedule to their location.

Am I misunderstanding the map/schedules for Fort Worth? If so, would someone please offer a short tutorial?

Thanks

Thanks

Ok. I went to just plain google maps (with OUT using the bus maps/schedules) and starting in Fort Worth and edging towards Dallas, I did see transit lines for the DART rail in Hurst/Euless/Bedford. Further exploration to the east at different levels of magnification, showed bus icons on the map close in to downtown Dallas. However, the bus icons do not show the stop numbers or any information for what route it is.

Thanks again, GenE

The T is working on putting their routes on Google Transit. I don't know if it's live yet or not but if not, it's coming. They were a bit behind DART and DCTA but putting transit routes on Google is not an easy thing to do.
