Reunion Tower

Seems like elegant towers like that (and the one in San Antonio and Seattle) aren't built that often these days. Is it because of cost? Does it generate revenue? Is it likely a freestanding tower with a restaurant on top be included in a hotel project these days (I understand there's a hotel being built near the convention center in downtown Fort Worth)?

Kneivel's Wild Ride

I like it. Anyone else watch it?

Green Valley Race City

I miss all the funny car meets that would come through plus lots of AHRA national meets. My dad would take me there as a kid anytime they'd have a major event. I remember seeing Billy Meyer, Ed McCullough's 'Revolution', Tom Hoover 'Showtime', The Mongoose Tom McEwen and even an appearance by Don 'The Snake' Prudhomme. The bleachers were really close to the track and had a great view.

Forum 303 Mall

just thinking about some of the old stores that used to be in there. What a great place! Toys By Roy, Blue Hawaiian restaurant, Picadilly Cafeteria, there was an organ/piano store, Service Merchandise (formerly Wilson's), Montgomery Ward, a sports cafe and an incredible pizza place with a buffet and a big-screen TV near the Dillard's/Movie Theater entrance. And of course, one of the biggest and best arcades anywhere (it had a huge carousel in it too).
