What do you think of this photo I took downtown at the beginning of the month? I have a few more from that same excursion, but I liked this one the best:
What do you think?

I think it's cool. Good drama in a still shot.

Jonny, I love the picture. The only comment that I have is that the top of Carter+Burgess Plaza shouldn't have been cropped off. When such a small amount of the building is missing, the cropping looks like an accident. (Which it may have been.) I realize that C+B Plaza is not the focal point of the photo, but tops of buildings shouldn't be cropped in a shot like this.

Great pictures, Johnny. Just became my background, replacing the Fort Worth/Dallas combo skyline panorama of John's.

@John: I actually didn't crop it, it was among the first I ever took with my new camera, and I was just getting used to it, so I accidently left the top out. But thanks for the suggestion, I'll make sure I have some room to crop with in future pictures.
Here's another "perspective" shot I took about a week ago. It's the little commercial strip by Stage West:
(It was actually a lot clearer when it was bigger, but I have to resize my photos heftily since they're from a 4 megapixel camera, thus they lose some image quality)

Jonny, you don't necessarily have to crop it. If you would have taken 4 or 5 similar shots and the top was completely in one of them, then that particular photo might have been the best one of the group. When you take pictures, you should try to compose the photgraph completely.

In the last picture with The Tower, Burnett Plaza, and the old First National Bank building, I like how the late sun gives color to both Burnett Plaza and FNB. It's probably the first picture I've ever seen of Burnett Plaza where the building doesn't look absolutely butt ugly.
