Number of Stanley Cups won in Texas since 1993 = 1. Number won by Canada in same time frame = 0. Checkmate, Canada.

Frankly, that is a meaningless statistic.  Texas does not exist in a vacumm; if it did it would be North Mexico and a third world country.

 

Number 10 thru 30 all very likely have a higher quality of health care for all of its citizens than do Texas; so it is not something to be so quickly touted about.
