With under two weeks remaining before the end of the current Texas Legislative Session, I am devilishly wishing for a show down between Austin and the Supreme Court arising from the prospect of Texas nullifying federal law for the express purpose of seeing such foolishness ended once and for all.

The yahoos will next be refusing to pay taxes and will be unable to pay salaries to their fed-state employees, or to receive social security and medicare payments.  This has already begun to cause some large corporation to question investing in the state.

Here is my prediction: less than .005% of Texas' 22M inhabitants will be exchanging their greenbacks for the newly printed Abbott Dollar.

As a spectator, this should be a hoot watching the yahoos climbing down from their soapbox to avoid the deserved label of treason.  As a citizen first of the United States; born and raised in Texas, it is an embarrassment the size of Texas.
