I've heard this is a popular concept in upscale areas of other metros, they basically act as private parks that serve food to. Good place for parents and kids to socialize.

I've never been to the patio at the FW location, but the Central Market in Southlake has a large outdoor patio with a playground.  A seafood restaurant called Craft and Crab opened a few months ago in Colleyville and it had a large playground adjacent to the patio.  However, it's already closed and is being rebranded to another concept.

There is already buzz on the Tanglewood Moms FB group about this site.  The Central Market (Fort Worth) playground nearby is dilapidated but they just announced they are replacing the playground equipment, perhaps to compete with this business???  This will be a great location for Fort Worth moms to have 'playdates'.  I have a lot of faith in the projects success since its the same owners as Fort Worth Food Park.

The new playground has been installed and the outdoor tables are being refinished. Eatzie's is another business that might initially take some business for the prepared food, IMO.

I think this is the same site. At 3501 Hulen will be Zoli's Pizza and Cow Tipping Creamery. 5,000 sqft building and 1,500 sqft covered patio, opening 2019. http://www.star-tele...e211748434.html

I usually avoid this stretch of Hulen but my dentist is near here.  This is moving full speed ahead and much of the support columns and plumbing have gone up.  I think this area could stretch towards the bridge and would be nice if it helped spur development into the over abundance of vacant medical / dental offices that line the street.
