These Photos are the result of a Photographic Expedition that my wife and I took to Galveston on Nov.21 & 22, We found Galveston to be devastated and the Gilchrist area on the Bolivar Peninsula to be near total devastation. These photos cannot even describe what we saw in person. However, things are coming back ever so slowly. Les Crocker

Oh man-- I was hoping by November it would look better. So sad.

I'm really thinking about trying to buy a place in Galveston. Maybe now is the time.

At least now is the time you know whether or not you'll be getting your hands on a piece of property that's well-built!

Les,

I posted your pics on the Galveston Forum and the nice folks on there really seemed appreciative. Check it out.

Jeff
Jeff, Thanks for posting the photos on the Galveston Forum. I checked out the forum and there are some really fantastic photos of the damage just after the storm by some great photographers. I have had several people that I sent the photos to, to say that they have been so involved in repairing their homes, businesses and lives that they haven't been able to get to the Bolivar peninsula to see for themselves. They were shocked at the destruction. Les
