Two of the Fort Worth Forum Members have made the November/December issue of FW, Inc. Magazine.  The two are yours truly, and Austin55.  Our friend Tim Young (Downtown Fort Worth Walking Tours) took our photograph together at the Texas & Pacific Railway Terminal.  Below is a link to the article by Samantha Calimbahin.

Thanks again to both to you for what you do for the city.

I learned about the website in 1997 after having a (unbeknownst to me at the time) conversation with Ed Bass.

I could have sworn that the original forum was around before 2000 (do I get credit for the post made before mandatory re-registration in 2004??? :swg: )

This cracked me up. I do look tall in the pic, but really I'm only about 5'8".

It was fun to interview Samantha with the magazine and tell her some backstory about how I got into all this. I'm 23 and been a member here since July 2008... So it's been something that's caught my eye for a long time. Huge shout out to John for creating and maintaining this fantastic website for all of us.

I just saw this article....very nice John and Austin! Funny that photo does make Austin look very tall. I was guessing 6ft-3in maybe.

I'm glad you finally saw the article.  I'm guessing that the angle does make Austin look incredibly tall.  The real truth is that I'm incredibly short.  We had to furnish our own photo for that article, and I asked our mutual friend, Tim Young, of the Downtown Fort Worth Walking Tours to take our picture.
