How much lead time does everyone need?
I checked the availability of the party room, it's open this Sunday, with the Arts Fest, etc... either everyone will be around anyway or it will be too much of a hassel to deal with logistically, just thought I'd toss that out there.
If it's not enough lead time, I can find out what some future open dates are, then we can cast votes on our favorite date to come up with one that best serves the majority.

Sunday is usually a half ARSE festival day.
I'm thinking Cinco de Mayo weekend? Saturday?
Quick! Get it before LOBSTER gets word of the date!
My beermates can be ready by then. Gettin on the horn with them right now.
And if this BASH is not a biggie, well then cool, a party of 20 is all good.
Cef, over at ZAMBRANO'S is itching to have us host a wine event there. Should we tell him this Saturday? Your thoughts. Then save the BREWOFF Clinic for May 2nd or 3rd @ THE TOWER?

How many would be interested in something this weekend, I'm guessing a few forum members might be downtown this weekend? ZAMBRANO'S...?
I'm good for for a Brew Meister gathering for a Tres de Mayo, I have contractors doing stuff right now anyway, things are a bit hectic.

If y'all want to do a Forum Pub Crawl or Rahr's tour this weekend, I'm up for it, but I think BMOC needs a couple of weeks at least.

When was the last time we all "hooked up" for BMOC?
Wine event during the MSFWAF would be nice, but I guess now not necessary.
Is it me or does the FIRST day of the festival ALWAYS get punished by the weather?
Wind is a coming and the tree leaves are plenty bright green.

BMOC generally takes a good amount of lead time, always has in the past anyway, so I guess we should toss out some options and dates and see where they land.
The party room takes a deposit and a fee which I could cover if everyone helped with bringing all the other "stuff" that typically goes along with one of these events.

Just got word that a local product homebrewer is available for the May 3rd date at our Innaugural BMBC gathering. Gonna get back with me if the 2nd is possibly open for them too. Has a short presentation for everyone and pic's to share at their past International Brew Off shows and clinics. They plan on bringing their own bottled/labeled homebrews and other highly recommended fine craft brews to sample as well. Should be both a memorable (hint: They may have some kegged homebrews) and informative night for all.
Have we decided on our date(s)?
If not, a poll should be in order. Either date is perfect for me, prefer the 2nd of May (Friday). 7pmish til 10:30pm??? Then we can poll as to who can bring what to the party, both beer and food wise (thinkin cheese and deli's, some fruit).
Let's get it set early, so we can start promoting beyond the FORUM.

7pm ish?
HEY, I know that guy. He gave a wheat beer recipe to my boyz!
Supposedly has not come out yet. The beer. Recommend the place for great sliders and brew. I saw some patrons leave with a gallon jug of their housebrew 2 GO.

Looks like we're going to have a symposium for those interested in beer, specifically, making it.
