I could host the next one here at the Tower, unless we come up with a better location.

How much lead time does everyone need?

I checked the availability of the party room, it's open this Sunday, with the Arts Fest, etc... either everyone will be around anyway or it will be too much of a hassel to deal with logistically, just thought I'd toss that out there.

If it's not enough lead time, I can find out what some future open dates are, then we can cast votes on our favorite date to come up with one that best serves the majority.

What? No Saturday?

Sunday is usually a half ARSE festival day.

I'm thinking Cinco de Mayo weekend? Saturday?

Quick! Get it before LOBSTER gets word of the date! laugh.gif

My beermates can be ready by then. Gettin on the horn with them right now.

And if this BASH is not a biggie, well then cool, a party of 20 is all good.

Cef, over at ZAMBRANO'S is itching to have us host a wine event there. Should we tell him this Saturday? Your thoughts. Then save the BREWOFF Clinic for May 2nd or 3rd @ THE TOWER?

I'm game for any festivities, but getting everyone together on short notice might be tough, but would be worth a try.

How many would be interested in something this weekend, I'm guessing a few forum members might be downtown this weekend? ZAMBRANO'S...?

I'm good for for a Brew Meister gathering for a Tres de Mayo, I have contractors doing stuff right now anyway, things are a bit hectic.

I would vote to add a few weeks to the date. David, what are the rules and/or requirement$ for using the Tower's activity room?

If y'all want to do a Forum Pub Crawl or Rahr's tour this weekend, I'm up for it, but I think BMOC needs a couple of weeks at least.

Couple of weeks.

When was the last time we all "hooked up" for BMOC?

Wine event during the MSFWAF would be nice, but I guess now not necessary.

Is it me or does the FIRST day of the festival ALWAYS get punished by the weather?

Wind is a coming and the tree leaves are plenty bright green.

I'm game for the weekend pub crawl as long as it's a downtown crawl, I have some work related items going on this weekend and have to stay close to a terminal, at least within sprinting distance.

BMOC generally takes a good amount of lead time, always has in the past anyway, so I guess we should toss out some options and dates and see where they land.

The party room takes a deposit and a fee which I could cover if everyone helped with bringing all the other "stuff" that typically goes along with one of these events.

Fellow FROUMERS,

Just got word that a local product homebrewer is available for the May 3rd date at our Innaugural BMBC gathering. Gonna get back with me if the 2nd is possibly open for them too. Has a short presentation for everyone and pic's to share at their past International Brew Off shows and clinics. They plan on bringing their own bottled/labeled homebrews and other highly recommended fine craft brews to sample as well. Should be both a memorable (hint: They may have some kegged homebrews) wub.gif and informative night for all.

Have we decided on our date(s)?

If not, a poll should be in order. Either date is perfect for me, prefer the 2nd of May (Friday). 7pmish til 10:30pm??? Then we can poll as to who can bring what to the party, both beer and food wise (thinkin cheese and deli's, some fruit).

Let's get it set early, so we can start promoting beyond the FORUM. wink.gif

Checking on dates, the 3rd was skyped so we're reviewing options.

Besides Mother's Day Weekend?

Since the 3rd is out, let's try for the 16th (Friday).

How does that sound to everyone?

Parfait!

7pm ish?

HEY, I know that guy. He gave a wheat beer recipe to my boyz!

Supposedly has not come out yet. The beer. Recommend the place for great sliders and brew. I saw some patrons leave with a gallon jug of their housebrew 2 GO.

Looks like we have a date, apologies for not having more lead time and such a limited chance for input on date selection due to my inability to sync my free time with our party room's open days.

I'll have an RSVP email address up shortly for those wishing to attend so I can add your names to the guest list for access on that evening.

Safly, hubby and I are going to eat at Ruth's Cris and then to Zambrano's Saturday night if you are still going to be there.

We're looking at May 16th 7:00 PM @ The Tower

RSVP@UrbanFortWorth.com ...just need to know who's coming so I can add your name(s) to the list.

Looks like we're going to have a symposium for those interested in beer, specifically, making it.

Well I got my dates totally mixed up and just realized that my oldest has his Spring concert that night. I had some great wines to bring too.

Next time...

I'm also hearing that a local homebrew club will have a couple of craft beers on tap for that night. Shall we arrange the food side then, anybody care to offer with help on that? Should be loads of fun.
