I know that Katy Lake was impounded as a reservoir for the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad, and was drained when Seminary South Shopping Center was built. I know that I&GNRR Lake, was impounded as a reservoir for the International and Great Northern Railroad, and is now called Echo Lake. Has anyone heard of Tyler Lake? I found it when reviewing 1919 and 1925 maps of Fort Worth. It was located to the northeast of the I&GNRR Lake, and was also along the I&GNRR tracks. It was south of E. Terrell and west of Sycamore Park. By the 1934 Fort Worth map, Tyler Lake is gone and has been replaced by Glenwood Park.

Anyone know the history of Tyler Lake?
