This was part of my trip throughout the American Midwest. I covered so many locations in about 8 days, hence the "Whirlwind tour" title. Expect the pics fromt he rest of my trip to show up later.

I took soooo many pics of Chicago, so enjoy.

BTW: I took some pic of a couple of cities on the way back...I'm just got them developed, so I'll post them here later, too. I alsoo have recentl;y uploaded some more of Chicago, so I mihgt edit them in, too.

Very nice photos! I was watching Wicker Park last night and now I've confirmed that my life won't be complete until I've visited Chicago. Looks like you lucked out with the Sears Tower obs. deck, too often I see pics from there where you can barely see Aon through the dirt on the windows.

Which other cities did you visit on your trip?

Some say that the Hancock building offers a much more interesting view of the city. Good dining too. Did you visit inside?
Navy Pier's ferris wheel also allows an eastern perspective unmatched.

You really lucked out on a clear day like that this year.

Cleveland, Cincy, Nashville, Cave City (near Mammoth Cave), and a couple of towns in western Kentucky where my Mom was born.

Here's a nice little pic I recently scanned onto my computer from this trip. It's a pic of the Chicago Athletic Association building:
