Does anyone want to get together for another monthly forum lunch?  Any suggestions for date and location?

I'm probably good for this Friday or next.  I hate to be "that guy", but while I'm sure the Mercury patio would be great, I would probably have to pass on downtown.  Time associated with parking and I hate paying for such a short time at lunch.

Since we didn't come up with a consensus, I guess we will have to wait until the last Friday of May.  (Next Friday)  That will be May 31st.  Will that work for everyone?  We will do it at noon, now the only other issue is to decide where to meet.

Yes, they are open to all forum members.  We would love to have you come.  By the way, it's this Friday, and we need to set a location.  Kincaid's is where we have been the last two months, and it is very convenient for me.  But, I would be willing to go to another location.

Anyone up for the Fort Worth Food Truck Park at 2509 Weisenberg on Friday?

 

This Friday they are scheduled to have Cup Cakin, EatJoDawgs, Geppettos, Pompeii, Taste Of Louisianna and Three Lions.

The weather service says it will be partly sunny, with a high near 89. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Should be comfortable under the trees with a breeze.

I could easily do that.  I was going to suggest at Food Truck Park, either this one, or Clear Fork, or Thistle Hill, but i didn't know if anyone wanted to eat outside.

I likely won't make it.  I'm teleconing into a meeting today and they will probably take lunch from 11 to 12.

We had only four of us there today, but I do want to thank Quentin McGown, Volare, and AndyN for coming.  The food park was very pleasant, even thought the weather is getting warm.  The breeze kept things fairly cool.

No, we haven't.  I also have a very busy schedule this next week, so you all may have to get together without me.  Why don't the rest of you set something up, and if I'm free, I will attend.

Well I had my get-together last night with Mr. Roberts. I was riding home late at night and guess who was working out in is front lawn? I stopped and we chatted a bit before finishing my late-night ride home. I now have a firm fix on where he lives, so if anyone wants to send him flowers, let me know.

We could do something on a weekend.  However, I usually ride bicycles on Saturday mornings, and that can stretch into the afternoons.
