Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks. Wild series.

Seemed like the festivities got out of hand in downtown Fort Worth tonight. I took about 25 video clips. I grabbed this one as it was a bit smaller than the rest. They shut downtown off around 10pm. (no coming in, only out. The reverse of a roach motel.)

Little clip. (Still feel like I shouldn't use YOUTUBE.)

Took a while for them to start up, lasted about 15 minutes, then they shut it down pretty fast.

I'm happy for the Mavs and their long-suffering fans. My wife's grandparents have been die hard Mavs fans for as long as I've known them (16+ years) and their support never wavered during their stretch as the worst franchise in sports in the late 90s. They were a little elated to say the least.

Great for you Dallas-area folk. Don't know how some of you who desire Fort Worth to have it's own independent national profile can root for the Cowboys, Mavericks, and Stars when they don't even recognize you as fans.

I did observe a hat tip to Fort Worth in the videos they played on the scoreboards at the game. Though one might argue that the fact that they stood out to me,
makes your case all the more.....

At least the Dallas Mavericks actually play in Dallas. ;)
Agree with Brian, wild series! Very entertaining. Can't wait for the 2011-2012 NBA season.

What's with Youtube? I thought they were paying you for the weather video? Did something get messed up?
