A new development is going in at the southeast corner of FM 1187 and I-35W, near Crowley and Burleson but within FW city limits. Cheddars, Old Chicago, Longhorn Steakhouse, Golds Gym, a number of medium big-box stores, and "grocery anchor under contract."

I used to live off 1187 in the countryside out there. Really changing quickly, will be strip malls all up and down that road all the way to Mansfield before long.

That is about the most generic looking shopping center imaginable.

FAR South... I got nervous for a second.

I actually work right down the road from this project.

Unfortunately it will fit right in to what is already there... snoozefest

It is well outside of 820 and nowhere near any "urban" neighborhood... I wouldn't expect anything other than this.

No new information on the Southgate developer's site, but a listing for a nearby property indicates that the grocery anchor for Southgate will be a Kroger Marketplace. http://www.edge-re.c...7HemphillStreet

This seems too close to the Kroger Marketplace in Burleson and somewhat close to the proposed one in Southwest Fort Worth, off of the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
