The next forum meeting was scheduled for a day where I have a conflict in my schedule.  A request for an evening meeting was made.  Let's plan on something in early September in the evening.  Do you want to combine it with a tour of an area of town?

Any evening next week except Monday will work for me. Anywhere is fine as long as I can take a bus to the ITC in the evening.

I'm sorry that I got so busy this month.  I did not have a chance to set up a tour and we will not be meeting today.

Next Friday is our Monthly Forum Meet at lunch.  We will do it again at Thistle Hill.

I'm sorry that I was out of town and I was very busy.  I always look forward to our lunches. 

 

You are right about a lot happening.  We now have two 20+ story buildings under construction and the Stockyards will be getting form based codes and a historic district overlay.  Over the last couple of months, when I have been occupied by other things, I also have hardly done any photography.

I think we should make the switch to Benito's.  There is a 60% or better chance of rain for Friday, including the lunch hour.  If we go to Benito's, we will guaranteed to be ordering our food where it is dry.  If you haven't been there, the location of the restaurant is on the northeast corner of Fairmount and Magnolia.

The lunch is at Benito's on Magnolia to keep us out of the rain.  It would be nice to know approximately how many people are coming.

There's a lot to discuss.  The Stockyards, Frost Tower, River Tower, the new Hampton Inn, Sinclair Building, Hilton Hotel Annex, Left Bank, Clearfork, and Waterside are just a few things that come to mind.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend today's meeting. I'm returning to town later this afternoon.

 

EDIT: The December meeting is scheduled for Christmas day. That won't work for me, either.

I didn't set up a meeting for today because of Thanksgiving and I certainly won't schedule one for Christmas Day.  I'm busy on December 4th, but I think we could get together for the months of November and December on Friday, the 11th.  The time would be noon at Benito's on Magnolia.

I enjoyed the conversation.  For those of you who didn't make it, there were only three of us there.  Doohickie, People are Strange, and I were the only ones who showed up. The food was great.

Unfortunately, I'm taking Friday classes again this semester due to registration issues and having to enroll in a course I didn't expect to take.
