I just wanted to remind everyone that our first Forum Meeting of 2017 will be next Friday around 11:45.  I guess we will go to Benito's because the long range forecast is for cool weather.

It's hard to believe, but Friday, February 24th is the next scheduled Forum Meeting date.

My brother will be in San Antonio for an awards dinner with his company (he lives in Buffalo, NY).  I'm driving down there to spend some time with him before he heads back north.

That's good that you will get a chance to see him.

Will there be anyone else who is planning on attending?  What about location.  Will it be too chilly for Thistle Hill?

Friday is supposed to be turning cooler with a high in the 60s.  Do you want to try the Food Park at Thistle Hill, or do you want to eat at Benito's?

Don't think I can make the next few meetings.

I've got Friday classes at 1:00 this semester with a professor that sometimes locks the door on tardy students. :o

We will wait for you until the summer.  By the way, I guess we will go to Thistle Hill.  If it is too cold, or the trucks are not there, then we can run down to Benito's.

I have some possible bad news.  I woke up this morning feeling a little under the weather, and as the day progressed, I felt worse.  I came home and I took it easy, but I still feel like I'm coming down with a mild case of the flu (or a bad cold).  I may not go to work tomorrow, and if I don't, I'm sure that I won't be putting forth the effort to join everyone for lunch.  I thought I would let everyone know.  However, if I wake up feeling good, then I will go to work and I will attend.  For the record, I got a flu shot this fall.

I have some good news.  I don't think it is the flu.  I was just achy last night.  I have a bad cold with an intense sore throat this morning.  Therefore, I will not be attending and I will stay home.  I had to feed the dogs and take them out and I noticed that it was pretty cool and windy.  That won't help this cold. I also called in sick today.

I was on the San Antonio Riverwalk with my brother and his wife.  Cheers.

The weather looks like it will be good, so let's try to go to the Food Park at Thistle Hill.  Check their Facebook page to make sure a truck will be there.  If no one is serving, then we will go to Benito's.

Coffee-Go-Round is the only truck listed on the Food Park at Thistle Hill's Facebook page.  I think we should go to Benito's instead because I want to eat and I don't want to have just coffee for lunch.

I brought one of my co-workers to the Forum Lunch today.  We checked in at Thistle Hill to verify there was only Coffee-Go-Round there.  Indeed, that was the case.  We then proceeded over to Benito's and Hipolyte was there with his wife.  I'm sorry that we did not have any other takers.  We will try again in April.  It also looks as if the Food Park at Thistle Hill is not dependable when it comes to food.  Maybe we should consider a permanent move for a while.

Sorry I was not able to attend. The workload today would not permit it. We ended up ordering a bunch of pizza and working through the lunch hour.

I was swamped this morning and didn't get to go to lunch until almost 1.  Maybe the Clear Fork Food Truck Park would be a better option.

For those of you who didn't make it, please don't worry about it.  I certainly have missed a few meetings due to work or being under the weather.  I'm glad that Hipolyte was there on an in and out basis and I brought my co-worker.  If I had not brought my co-worker and no one else had shown, I just would have eaten lunch by myself.  That wouldn't have been a big deal.

It's hard to realize, but Friday is the last Friday of the month.  That means it's forum meeting day.  We will do it at Benito's again at roughly 11:45.

Hipolyte, I certainly understand.  We should take care of business, first.  However, I am hoping someone will show up.  I really don't want to eat lunch by myself.

I wanted to remind everyone that we are having a forum meeting at lunch.  We are meeting at Benito's, at the corner of Magnolia and Fairmount.  Please try to come because I would hate to drive from the West Side of Fort Worth (roughly at the Traffic Circle) all the way into the center of town, just to eat by myself!
