I took this shot yesterday from the Burnett Plaza Building. Around the 22nd floor.
I cannot see this stadium from either of my condos in the Tower. Carter Burgess building is in the way. I realize by analyzing this picture that I could probably see the stadium if I had a mirror on a 3' pole. I am very close. (Note to those below me this afternoon: Don't be.)

I see from that vantage point, the stadium is directly in line with the Channel 5 television studios.

This thread should probably be merged into the Photos in the Distance Thread over in the Photography section.

Thought about putting it in the other thread but thought we might could use a general "Cowboys Stadium" thread as I could not find one.
Feel free to delete the thread.

I'll try looking for it from my angle on the next clear day I have a chance to set up a tripod.

There is a general thread on the construction in the Surrounding Cities Forum, as well. I won't delete the thread. The photograph is too good. I may merge it into an existing thread somewhere on the board.

Why don't we have a catchall Cowboys, Stadium, Superbowl section to put them all in? As kickoff draws near I suspect it's going to garner more and more forum time.

Since the ESPN announcement I've noticed a big change in the tourist numbers downtown and an even bigger change in the way people act, not sure how to explain it.

Watching the lead up festivities, the planned pre-events and the way this Super Bowl is being treated by past and current football greats, I get the distinct impression that Texas created football, or at least as we know it today. I know I'd think that if I was watching these events unfold from another country.
