Not much news is out on this, but based on what I'm seeing with the dirt work it looks like they are close to pouring the streets.  I count 66 lots so it's a big development.

Owned by the same group that is doing Rivercrest Bluffs, which is just to the Northeast of this one.

Streets have been poured and the neighborhood is accessible to vehicles now.  It's a very pretty site, especially for the lots that will front the river on the south side of the development...they will have a beautiful view of the River Crest and Westover neighborhoods past the river and nature area.

At least 4 homes in this development are now being framed up, and 8 slabs have been poured.  Seems like this will move relatively quickly.

Have seen some marketing by Village Homes in the Star-Telegram on weekends in the RE section.  Homes look impressive - some in the $400,000s and some from I think High $800Ks and up.   

 

From White Settlement Road there appears to be one foundation about to be poured. 

 

They build a small look-out/ observation deck overlooking the river and Downtown to the east - pretty cool and smart to give a preview of what a view would look like from the homes backing up to the river and trails. 

 

Pleased to see that Fort Worth is really embracing the Trinity River these days.  The Army Corps of Engineers makes it difficult to achieve direct access to the river and trails but in certain places it has been happening, first slowly over the years and now quickly. 

 

Think about the timeline:  originally Mayfest, later RadioShack/TCC buildings, Panther Island Pavilion, Woodshed, Clear Fork Food Park, Idlewild street (homes), recently Press Cafe, and soon, the Crystal Springs, West Bend, and Waterside => more buildings facing the river => more people out using the trails => more energy => more places facing the river.  - its really great to see.

You're actually talking about Rivercrest Bluffs, which is viewable from White Settlement.  And yes I think they're about to pour the first slab.  River Heights is further Southwest into that neighborhood and isn't viewable from White Settlement.  There are at least 10 homes back there already under construction.

 

River Heights is basically $400k-$850k and includes townhomes.  Rivercrest Bluffs is $750k to $1.2mm+ and is all single family.  They seem to have hit the right price point in River Heights in particular, because I've heard that sales are brisk.
