^ sorry, i live in the near southside and the gentrification was pointing east (historical southside, then texas wesleyan, and now with the HEB on the next intersection). I checked the Google Maps and I can imagine HEB would do wonders in that intersection like they do in other cities (Austin, Houston).
Sorry if you did not get my train of thought. More important, it is nice that HEB is investing where no other would dare, besides Walmart on 287 and Berry.

I think it is easily obvious that an HEB store in this location is a much more dramatic indicator of positive change in Fort Worth than a Trader Joes sited anywhere in the city.

^yes, thank you! I was surprised ALDI didn't - if you do see they do have stores in south/southeast Dallas, thought they would have one or two in east/southeast FW.
HEB buying sites in far northwest FW and Keller, in addition to southwest Grand Prairie and now, east FW - those would be the major economic centers in five or ten years down the road.

I forgot one thing - when visiting in Austin, Houston, I have heard other refer (their) HEB stores as "my HEB" - you are right, that is the goal for the neighbors in those areas to consider that HEB as "my HEB."
