Back in 2008, the Genealogy of Fort Worth's Architectural Firms was presented at an AIA Meeting.  That chart has been published online.  Almost all of the current architectural firms in the city are direct descendants of one of the firm variations of Marshall R. Sanguinet.  Most of today's firms descended from Sanguinet & Staats, but a few came from some of the firms that he had with earlier partners.  I think you will find the family tree interesting.

Fascinating.  I'm wondering why this study, circa 2006, stopped at 1946.  From my own professional perspective, I would surmise a similar genealogy exists for Fort Worth law firms, as well, beginning with Cantey Hanger.

If you scroll down, there are a few more pages that cover up to the present.

Yes, there is more than one page to this file.  In the latter years, it also shows how nearly all of the firms tie back to Sanguinet.
