Please join the Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club as they screen the award-winning documentary Bag It, which follows an ordinary citizen, Jeb, who decides to give up using plastic bags.  This seemingly simple act inspires him to learn more about plastic and its effect on our lives.  What he learns is a real eye-opener about the consequences of our rampant consumption of plastics.  We hope this moving, even sometimes-funny film will inspire the citizens of Fort Worth to take a look at their own use of plastic, particularly single-use plastic bags, which all too often end up either in the Trinity River and other waterways, or strewn along our roads and highways.

Wed. Aug. 21st, 7:00 p.m., Azalea Room, Fort Worth Botanic Garden.  45 mins. running time.  Free.
