In my research, I am finding very little information on the Cook Book Bread Bakery that was located on 500 S. Henderson. I know it was a small bakery and the competition from Mrs. Bairds forced them to close. Does anyone else have anymore information on the bakery?

In my research, I am finding very little information on the Cookbook Bread Bakery that was located on S. Henderson. I know it was a small bakery and the competition from Mrs. Bairds forced them to close. Does anyone else have anymore information on the bakery?

I'm not familiar with Cookbook Bakery on S. Henderson, but I remember the Tastee Bread bakery on Henderson, between Harris Hospital & I-30, across the street and just north of the Jack-in-the-Box. They had a mechanical "falling bread" sign, & were there thru the mid 70's as I remember.
