One thing that surprised me is the first phase spans over Adams, so it's wider than the block that was there. From the South is makes a nice terminated vista. Pic a few months old but you get the idea.

I overlaid the most recently posted site plan on a June 2022 aerial. It looks like the two easternmost arches where the passageway (currently the edge of the initial building) line up almost perfectly with the centerline (red) and the eastern sidewalk (purple) of Adams St.

I'm speculating that the passageway wasn't designed for this to be a stand-alone building like the preliminary renderings, but probably now any expansion would span the entire block as a single facade along Rosedale built in two or more phases (hence the need for one, or more, passageways through the middle of the building).

Thanks NThomas. Interesting observation on the archway alignment with Adams (and good design!). This site plan also aligns with my note above that if TCU plans to and does indeed acquire the remaining parcels east to College, then this building #1 still aligns with the 4-building conceptual sketch originally released.

Unimportant as the plans will certainly evolve over time, but I have always presumed the conceptual "taller" buildings" to the north are so because they envision a garage podium on at least one, if not both.

Alright, I tried to figure out how to embed this to no avail. Its the latest video update from the TCU Burnett SOM construction. Interesting conversation with the new TCU President, SOM Dean, and Mayor Parker.

From a phone:
1) in the YouTube app, grab the shareable link and paste it in your browser url and let the browser load the video for a second within the browser window not the app.
2) select the new url from the browser with the word "watch?si=" in it, and copy it to your clipboard
3) paste that into a forum post in a new window/tab
4) delete the m. in front of the word YouTube (this is a mobile operator but hangs up the forum embed for sone reason)
5) put your cursor after the end of the video and press enter twice after the url for good measure (an old old IP board rule)
6) it works!!

Looks something like this:

I think it looks better in real life than it did in the drawings.
