Where is the Downtown Christmas tree going to be this year? Are they going to stick it in the middle of all the construction?

That's a good question. I can check with my Sundance Square contacts.

Exact same place as always. Between 3rd and 4th on Main. I do think it will be tricky. Particularly the lighting ceremony.

As the construction of the first two buildings (Westbrook and Commerce) will be finished in October 2013, this is a one time problem. I am guessing Sundance planned it where only one Christmas would be impacted. Starting Christmas 2013, the place for the Christmas tree will be grand.

The Parade of Lights goes on as with tradition. (Day after Thanksgiving)
