Anybody remember the local TV shows that used to be on Channel 5? The Bewley (Flour)Barn Dance was on Saturday nights. and I believe Teenage Downbeat was a daily show that was once hosted by the one and only Pat Boone when he was still a student at NTSU. It was meant to be FW's version of American Bandstand. It is hard to believe that 50 years have elapsed. I can remember being on both shows with kids from Lily B. Clayton and McClean Jr. High. They must have been desperate for talent to round up a bunch of 5th grade square dancers.

Anybody remember the Bobby Peters show on Channel 5 on Saturday mornings? I went there for my birthday when I was 6 or 7. I also remember being on a Mary Parker show sometime before that.
